The Darkling Thrush

I composed The Darkling Thrush in 2018 for Polaris Vocal Ensemble and their conductor, Nicola Starkie. The work is a setting of the poem by Thomas Hardy for SSAA choir, and the premiere was given by Polaris in February 2019; click on the SoundCloud player to listen to their performance.
